Let´s the magic starts, - Create
If you want to create your own collection instead including your NFT in the general DaVinci collection, use + New and follow the steps. Once your own collection is created, you will see it displayed in the Choose Collection section. Select your new collection, and choose the type and category of NFT you want to create.
Regarding Video, Music and Book categories it´s needed to upload a gif as a cover image and upload original file as a mp4, mp3 or PDF which will be unlocked when someone purchases it. Be aware that all NFT creations will be checked by daVinci´s marketplace administrators, so any artist could be banned in case not appropriate content 🚩.
Tag: keywords used for the marketplace searching engine. Number of copies: several NFTs of the same file can be minted.
Sale Type: Direct sale straight away after minting or not for sale.
Auction: The artist set a time and the auctions begins
Sale Price: Sale price in ONE tokens.
Royalties: A certain percentage as royalty for secondary sales can be set.
Example: You create a digital painting and sell it for 2 ONE, the royalty is 10 percent. Your buyer then sells your painting at a higher price point for 5 ONE. Here, the royalty system kicks in. As the original content creator you receive 10% of that sale, being 0.5 ONE.
Royalties set on other platforms don’t carry over to daVinci at the moment. However, the team needs to work on a cross-platform royalties implementation in the near future.
Unlock ones purchased (Digital code): code/ message that only the person that purchases the art will see it. As a content creator, unlockable content can be added to any collectible, which only becomes visible after a transfer of ownership (i.e. selling or gifting your NFT). Artists use this feature to include high resolution files, videos, secret messages etc
It's time to create the NFT
After the transaction, check Account/My Creations, the brand new NFT and the new Collection should be displayed there.
From My Creations, the Edit option will be enabled for the Artist to Edit some of the features introduced during the NFT creation.
